China Medical University is located in Shenyang city, the capital of Liaoning Province which is the political, economic, cultural and financial hub of China. The university has been teaching medicine in English ever since its inception. CMU has been the pioneer and leader in teaching western medicine in China. Duration Of MBBS Course

MBBS program with English medium has 9 semesters and an internship period of 1.5 years, so the MBBS course has a complete duration of 6 years. From the second year onwards, live case studies are taught by foreign professors. The live courses are very popular among international students. In the last four decades, hundreds of Indian students have pursued MBBS course and postgraduate courses and they are doing very well in their respective disciplines.

CMU Infrastructure

Sheng-jing hospital of China Medical University is one of the most advanced medical institutions with 5000 beds. Three general hospitals and a dental hospital with a bed strength of 11,000 patients are attached to the university, So the medicos can get hands-on training in all the subjects related to medicine. On completion of the 6-year medical course, a medico becomes a full-fledged medical professional with a high level of confidence.

Stay & Food

The hostels are bestowed with 3 well-maintained dormitories which have single or twin sharing rooms with attached bathrooms. Every floor is equipped with a public kitchen. Tasty and wholesome food is provided three times a day at the college canteens. The university encourages indoor and outdoor games, talent shows, debates, and medical quiz. The hostel life in CMU is very enjoyable and memorable for every medico living there.

Laboratory & Library

Ministry of Health of China has established two advanced research bases.11 provincial medical labs are functioning under the guidance of CMU. The library has a stock of 1.25 million books and 21 terabytes of e-resources. CMU has a publishing department which publishes 15 journals periodically.
