North Sichuan Medical University (NSMU) is a government-run university of medicine in Sichuan Province. It is located in Nanchong, the second largest higher education center of Sichuan Province. Nanchong is a famous city. It is known for the origin of the Three Kingdoms Culture. The University's two campuses occupy an area of over 820,000 square meters.
The University is responsible for the medical care of about 30 million people in the surrounding area of nearly 100,000 km. Our laboratory has 70 staff,including two professors,four associate professors,2 Ph.D.,17 masters,5 postgraduate students,also including one academic leaders of Sichuan Provincial Health Department,two candidates of academic leaders and 5 invited clinical or technical experts from within and outside the hospital.
This laboratory is divided into east and west sections sharing totally 1950 square meters. West section includes blood bank, sites for collection of specimen, and routine and emergency tests. And the east section, the main part of our laboratory, is equipped with state of the art equipments, with scientifically designed workflow.
SCU is located in Chengdu, a culturally and historically noticeable city, adjacent to the Jinjiang River and its tributary Jiang'an River. The college provides hostel to the international students. Two persons share a room with air conditioner, attached bathroom, color TV, telephone, bed with required amenities and furniture, free hot―drinking--- water heater, refriger, public laundry and kitchen, internet access.
